燃料フィルターにおいて、ドレンプラグ取付部の平面が確保できていないため、製造時に過大なトルクでドレンプラグを締め付けた場合に、ガスケットが変形もしくは圧縮割れが発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けたり、定期点検時にドレンプラグを緩め、再締め付け作業を行うと、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
