ディーゼルエンジン用のオイルフィルターにおいて、リリーフバルブの開弁圧が不適切なため、エンジン内部で発生する金属粉がオイルフィルターで捕捉されないことがある。そのため、バキュームポンプに金属粉が侵入し軸が摩耗した場合、負圧生成能力が低下し、エンジン低回転時にブレーキペダルを短時間に複数回踏むと、一時的にブレーキアシスト力が低下するおそれがある。また、ターボチャージャーに金属粉が侵入し軸が摩耗した場合、加速力の低下及び異音が発生するおそれがある。

(3) All vehicles: inspect vacuum pumps; replace with new units any exhibiting reduced negative pressure generation capability. Minor reductions will be addressed later pending parts availability. (4) All vehicles: inspect turbochargers; replace with new units any exhibiting acceleration problems or abnormal noise.
