ショベルローダのワイヤーハーネスにおいて、当該ハーネスを保護するコルゲートチューブ内部に水が溜った状態で冷熱サイクルを繰返すと、毛細菅現象により水がハーネスジョイント部から電気配線を伝わり集合カプラー内部に浸入する場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、集合カプラー内部の端子が腐食して通電しなくなることで、警音器、方向指示器、前照灯の作動不良、エンジンの始動不良が起こるおそれがある。
Remedy
Inspect the condition of terminals inside the connector assembly on all vehicles. Replace the harness with a corrective part if terminals show corrosion. If terminals show no corrosion, modify the harness routing and add a single-pole waterproof connector.
