４速オートマチックトランスミッションにおいて、トランスミッションケース内部の潤滑油路が不適切なため、高速走行時（６５ｋｍ／ｈ超え）に、プロペラシャフトとの潤滑が不足となることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、トランスミッション後端部が破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。また、一部の車種においては、プロペラシャフトが外れ、燃料タンクを損傷させ、燃料漏れとなるおそれがある。
