圧縮天然ガス自動車において、エンジンの電子制御コントローラのプログラムが不適切であったため（対策済みリコール届出番号１８９３）、スロットルモーターと燃料噴射装置を駆動する電気駆動装置（ＥＤＵ）内のトランジスタに過大な電流が流れ、トランジスタが劣化しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、トランジスタが溶断し、燃料噴射装置が作動しなくなり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストし、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
