Engine control electrical wiring has insufficient abrasion resistance of wire insulation. Engine vibration and similar forces cause the insulation at the bends of the electrical wiring to be abraded and damaged by friction against the electrical wire protection tube (corrugated tube). Continued use in this condition may result in electrical short circuit or wire breakage, causing engine shutdown. In the worst case, engine restart may become impossible.
