The cage of the needle roller bearing supporting the 3rd gear within the transmission lacks sufficient strength. Under the load applied by the 3rd gear, the cage may deform or fracture. Continued operation in this condition can result in shift malfunction, abnormal noise, and in the worst case, bearing seizure leading to loss of driving capability. 変速機（トランスミッション）内部の３速歯車を支えるベアリング（ニードルローラーベアリング）の保持器の強度が不十分なため、３速の歯車より加わる荷重等により当該保持器が変形・破損することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、シフト不良、異音等が発生して、最悪の場合、当該ベアリングが焼き付き走行不能となるおそれがある。 備考）本件は、平成１６年１０月２０日付け「届出番号１２７７」にてリコール届出を行ったものですが、対象車両の選定に一部誤りがあったため、対象車両を追加し、新たに届出するものです。
