Hazard
Inadequate waterproofing of the fuel pump electronic control unit allows water ingress into the connector terminals connecting the electronic control unit and fuel pump, causing corrosion. This corrosion can lead to fuel pump malfunction, and in the worst case, engine stalling with inability to restart. Remedy
