蓄圧式燃料噴射システムの燃料圧送ポンプにおいて、製造時等の組立工程における清浄度の管理が不適切なため、当該ポンプのオーバーフローバルブ内に異物が詰まるものがある。そのため、低温時に使用すると、燃料リターン配管から空気を吸い込み、燃料圧送ポンプへの燃料供給が停止するため、エンジンが停止、再始動不能に至るおそれがある。 （備考）本件は平成１７年９月７日にリコール届出番号「１５０６」で届出を行ったものですが、対象車両の集計に一部誤りがあることが判明したため、型式、車台番号、製作期間及び台数を訂正するものです。（平成１８年１月２５日）
