In the braking system of four-wheel-drive vehicles, the capacitor, a component of the deceleration sensor (G-sensor) used for ABS control, may leak electrolyte after prolonged use. If use continues in this condition, the leaked electrolyte can contact IC terminals on the same circuit board, causing short circuits between terminals and preventing the G-sensor from functioning properly. This results in ABS malfunction and increased braking distance.

四輪駆動車の制動装置において、ＡＢＳの制御に使用している減速度検知装置（Ｇセンサー）の構成部品であるコンデンサーを長期間使用するとコンデンサーから電解液が漏れるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、電解液が同一基板上に設置されているＩＣの端子に付着し、端子間で短絡してＧセンサーが適正に機能しなくなり、ＡＢＳが正常に作動しないため制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
Remedy
All vehicles: replace the G-sensor with a corrected part. Pending supply of corrected parts, as an interim measure, notify all users of the defect and remove the G-sensor to disable ABS operation.
