The knuckle arm in the steering system has insufficient strength. Frequent prolonged use involving high steering force, such as lock-to-lock steering, may cause cracks in the knuckle arm. If use continues in this condition, the knuckle arm may eventually fracture, resulting in loss of steering capability.
