In turbocharged manual transmission vehicles, the fastening bolt of the Oil Control Valve (OCV) cover—which hydraulically controls engine intake valve timing—has insufficient bolt preload. Under sustained high-load, high-RPM operation, internal engine vacuum increases, causing OCV gasket deformation that further reduces bolt preload. ターボチャージャー付手動変速機車両において、エンジン吸気バルブ開閉タイミングを 油圧で制御するためのオイルコントロールバルブ（ＯＣＶ）のカバー締付ボルトの軸力が低 いため、高負荷高回転を継続して使用した場合、エンジン内部の負圧が増大し、ＯＣＶのガ スケットの変形により当該ボルトの軸力が更に低下することがある。そのため、当該ボル トが緩みエンジンオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。 （備考） 本届出は、平成１６年９月１５日「届出番号１２２０」のリコール届出に、新たに対象車 を追加するものである。
