① In the fuel cell stack, the waterproofing treatment of the cooling water passages in the end unit is inadequate, resulting in insufficient sealant filling in some units. This reduces the seal integrity of the cooling water passages, causing coolant leakage, illumination of the power system warning light, and if operation continues, fuel cell output decreases resulting in poor acceleration. In the worst case, power generation stops, the drive continuation warning light illuminates, and the vehicle becomes inoperable. ② In the fuel cell stack, the inspection process for cooling water joints is insufficient, resulting in inadequate seal integrity in some coolant joint holder sections. This causes coolant leakage from the holder section, illumination of the power system warning light, and if operation continues, fuel cell output decreases resulting in poor acceleration. In the worst case, power generation stops, the drive continuation warning light illuminates, and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
