In air brake systems of large trucks with low-floor 4-axle configuration, resonance analysis was insufficient. At high vehicle speeds, resonance can occur around the air tank. This causes repeated stress on the fixed straps, leading to fatigue fracture. Continued use in this condition allows the air tank to float, causing interference with brackets and damaging air connections, resulting in air leakage. This triggers brake air pressure warning lamp illumination and audible alarm. In worst case, front or rear wheel brakes may fail.

大型トラック低床４軸車のエアブレーキにおいて、共振に対する検討が不十分なため、高車速域でエアタンク周辺で共振することがある。そのため、固定ストラップに繰り返し応力がかかり、当該ストラップが疲労破断し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エアタンクが浮動してブラケット等と干渉しエア接続部等が損傷しエアが漏れ、ブレーキエア圧力低下の警告ランプ点灯及び警報が鳴り、最悪の場合、前輪もしくは後輪のブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
